The Business Development team is critical in growing our customer base by attracting SMEs and Corporate accounts. Furthermore, this team will be tasked to automate processes through best business practices, ensuring a highly scalable and sustainable model for business growth.

Bykea is looking for the right person to join our payments’ Business Development team to grow the network of merchants utilizing Bykea’s payment solutions. You will also be responsible for providing assistance to the merchant network to uphold our service levels.


  1. Onboard businesses, which are not offering online/card payments.
  2. Train and educate the onboarded businesses about Bykea’s Payment solution in entirety, including but not limited to, features and functionality.
  3. Manage and maintain business reports, ensuring that every transaction is efficiently and transparently accounted for.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with strategic/key partners.
  5. Negotiate attractive commercial offers with partners.
  6. Weekly reporting to management.
  7. Work with internal stakeholders on driving usage of Payments.


  1. At least 3 years of experience in partnerships or business development
  2. An undergraduate or graduate degree from a top tier university
  3. Great communication skills
  4. Experience and willingness to work in the field to meet and onboard clients
